Centre Gallery welcomes applications to exhibit from serious artists and everyone with a visuals art project, which, they believe, would work well in our space.
We have a particular interest in supporting emerging artists and crafts persons, young artists and art, craft, photography, installation and performance art of all kinds, any work which cannot readily find a home in a commercial environment. Everyone from schools groups to the most brilliant of artists is welcome to show exciting work here.
Whilst we generally charge to rent our space we are prepared to work with any artist or artists with a good idea to ensure that we can exhibit their work.
Our primary goal is to present the most enjoyable and exciting exhibitions and the most original programme possible to the community of Victoria Park and Metropolitan Perth at large.
It is possible to apply for an exhibition at Centre Gallery at any time.
Exhibitors should provide a short (No more than one page A4) description of what they wish to do in the gallery with photographs, if appropriate, with their initial contact
The minimum rental period is one week.
The normal rent is now $275 per week with 20% percent commission. (In some circumstances this is negotiable)
A deposit of $100 is normally required to hold a booking
It is possible to rent the gallery for up to three consecutive weeks.
The gallery offers pro active assistance and support with exhibition planning and presentation, also with digital publicity.
Exhibitors must however bear the cost of all printing and some of the cost of any opening associated with their exhibition.
